During 1997 - 1998, thanks to one of our doctors, we did some apostolate on the island of Corregidor, in Manila Bay. Here, Fr. Couture is seen traveling to the island with one Filipino seminarian, just arrived from Australia.   57. On another trip to Corregidor, he was accompanined by Cesar Lebanan (now a Benedictine monk), the brother of the doctor.   58. Divine Providence, visibly encouraging the Philippine apostolate, sent another great laborer to the mission: French Dominican Fr. Marie Dominque. Father stayed in Asia for 18 months and was a wonderful companion for the priests and a true Father for the faithful.   59. In December, the St Bernard pre-seminarians staged "A Christmas Carol". Frs. McMahon (the producer) and Vernoy watched captivated! (See next photo)   60. The play had none other than the District Superior featuring as Scrooge!
