34.
Perched on a 40 ft coconut tree, this Texan Cowboy, Fr. Blute,
can keep a watchful eye on any of the boys during another boys'
camp in exotic surroundings.
35.
Construction in New Manila never stopped for many long months:
here the fourth floor of the priory can be seen almost finished.
36.
Fr. Rostand's replacement was Fr. Vicente Griego, from Albuquerque,
New Mexico (USA),
newly ordained in Winona. Rev. Fr. Manuel Piñon O.P graced
the welcome party with his visit.
On this photo Fr. Griego must have cornered him with a tricky question
while Fr. Morgan is preparing an English pun to mark the occasion.
37. In October, Bishop Fellay came back to finally bless the church.
Walking in front of him. is Fr. Paul Kramer.
38.
The same visit was historical for another good reason:
H.E. Bishop Salvador L. Lazo, retired bishop of San Fernando La
Union,
had just begun visiting the SSPX priory.
The first meeting of the two bishops took place on October 13.
39. The Santo Niño Catechism children giving their Christmas
presentation
in the unfinished car park of the priory.
